Okay, let us go to the well one more time.
For the third week in a row, skip all of this if you already know the Double Digit Home Dog drill.
In the middle of November more than 20 years ago, I came across something interesting: all the double-digit home underdogs in conference play were not just covering at an alarming rate, many of them were winning outright.
The fun did not last, and this has not happened over the years, but this year I brought the DDHD back to life, and it is working.
You would be ahead if you put the same amount of money into all of these games so far.
That is the point: it does not make sense or follow logic. It is possible that both good and bad teams are tired, or that everyone is under more pressure, or something else.
You make fun of? You have doubts about everything?
Georgia Tech beat Miami 28–0. (-10, but yes, the line did go down late) 23
UNLV (-12.5) 29, Hawaii 27
Liberty (-12.5) rocked Middle Tennessee and Marshall (-12.5) went 37-3 on Southern Miss, but …
Jacksonville State (-10) 44, Louisiana Tech 37, and WKU (-18.5) 41, New Mexico State 28.
4-2. That’s the goal. Just be up – and do NOT parlay this. So again, let’s try this one more time.
Also, 1) be scared because I LOVE most of the underdogs in this (that is not a good sign), and 2) East Carolina (-16.5) 38, Tulsa 31 already happened.
Again, this pick is based on the crowd. If five of them are right, I will call it a win; if five of them are wrong, I will call it a loss; and if it is tied at four, it is a tie.
After all that, I am sorry that a lot of the picks this week are point totals; I know a lot of you do not like that. What I see is all I can see.
