TAMPA, Florida — A woman was killed after being hit by six different automobiles while attempting to cross Dale Mabry Highway.
The incident occurred around 8:16 p.m. on Saturday, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release. According to authorities, the Lexus driver struck the woman as she attempted to cross the highway north of Sunlake Boulevard.
According to FHP, the woman was hit by five different vehicles before dying of her injuries at the site. The FHP did not specify any charges against any of the drivers involved.
“All involved vehicles remained at the scene of the crash,” the agency stated.
