A 14-year-old girl died after jumping from a luxury Soho apartment building on Sunday, according to police and sources.
An NYPD spokesperson said the terrible events began around 7:20 a.m., when police were called to 101 Wooster Street to find a girl unconscious.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene of the crime.
Police say that the girl lived with her family on the third and fourth floors of the building, where apartments cost more than $5 million.
Police said they are still looking into what happened.
