A guy from Cleveland was found guilty of shooting and killing a father from Euclid at a gas station in December 2022.
Also, Bobby Buchanan Jr. was found guilty of two different crimes: a shooting that did not result in death in November 2022 at a commercial complex on W. 117th Street in Cleveland and a high-speed chase with Cleveland police in December 2022.
Robert Buchanan Jr.’s bench trial began on September 4 in front of Judge John Sutula of the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas. The trial did not meet every day, though.
The 33-year-old Buchanan was found guilty of aggravated murder, murder, attempted murder, felonious assault, failure to obey, and having weapons while disabled on October 16.
Tony Wynn, 50, was shot and killed by Buchanan at the Shell Gas Station on December 3, 2022, at 5:30 p.m., at the corner of St. Clair Avenue and E. 100th Street.
A police report says Wynn was shot in the belly and thigh. He died at University Hospitals from his injuries.
Police said that Wynn was at one gas station and Buchanan was at another when the killing took place.
Buchanan left the scene of the crime after the killing.
The cops in Cleveland caught him on December 4, 2022.
Buchanan will get his sentence on November 19. He has to get at least 32.75 years in jail, and he could get life in prison.
