The police said the investigation is “complex” and that many partner departments are working on it. People in charge told the media and people on social media to be careful with their rumors and to think about what the family needs.
because the girl and her family had just moved here from India three years ago.
The woman was “trapped” inside the oven when she called 911 last Saturday. The CBC heard from sources that the oven did not lock.
Around 9:30 p.m., police replied to the call and said there had been a “sudden death.” The police have not said that they think there was foul play.
