It is been two terrible seasons since the team lost so many games. The only close game Kent State has had this year was against Ball State. They have lost their last 20 games against FBS teams.
On the other hand, Miami University is on a four-game winning streak and has a chance to get back to the title game. However, Northern Illinois and Bowling Green will be tough after this.

Why Kent State Will Win
College of Miami is good, but it has a lot of problems.
On both sides of the ball, it has trouble on third downs. The offense only gained 353 yards per game on average, and the team does not usually score a lot of points. Kent State needs to keep this close and hope that there are some breaks late.

The Golden Flashes are last in the country in both total offense and rushing offense. They are also last in scoring defense and total defense. A bunch of mistakes are the only thing that could make things worse.
Even though Miami’s offense is not very strong, the defense is strong and the team does not give up the ball very often.
Just one turnover in the last three games, and four in the last six. Kent State has only had three turnovers in the last seven years, so they do not make many big plays.
