Ohio State is bad at college football, but Indiana is good?

The Hoosiers are in the thick of the race for the Big Ten Championship and a spot in the College Football Playoff, while the Wolverines are just trying to stay in the running for a bowl game. It does not seem right.

The defending national champions did not do much in a 21-point loss to Oregon. They have now lost three of their last four games. Things should be fine with Northwestern coming up in two weeks, but going 5-4 this season has been tough.

The strange 2020 season game was won by Indiana, but the Hoosiers have lost 28 of their last 29 games against them. It will be the first time in 126 years of Indiana football history that a team won ten games. If they win this, it will be their first win over Michigan.

It will also almost certainly mean an 11-1 season and a spot in the College Football Playoff. Ohio State comes up next, and then Purdue.

The Indiana defense is doing a good job when the Michigan State offense leaves home with -36 yards rushing. However, Michigan needs to start slamming the ball and keep the ground game going.

Since beating USC, things have not been great, but the team is 5-1 when it runs for 120 yards and 0-2 when it doesn’t.
