Will Nebraska ever be able to go to a bowl game?
After going 5-1 to start, it looked like it was a done deal. But the offense went on a four-game losing streak, and now the stress is through the roof because it is happening AGAIN.
Nebraska should be in the running for the College Football Playoff, but it has not been to a bowl game in over a decade. No other Power Four school has a longer bowl drought.
2016. That was the last bowl game for the Huskers. If you lose, the trip to Iowa next week is all that matters.
Wisconsin also needs this to be able to go to the bowl games. It started out 5-2, but then the schedule hit hard, the O fell apart, and the OC took over. Because Phil Longer was fired, the team needs to win or beat Minnesota in order to get to six wins.

Why Wisconsin Will Win
Ohio State, Penn State, USC, Iowa, and Alabama. It did not work well against the five best defenses, but it did well against everyone else.
The offense got more than 300 yards in the five wins but less than 300 yards in the five losses. With some changes made from the Longo era, the offense should be a little better now.
It was also possible for those five teams the Badgers lost to run. When the defense holds up and the quick passing game works right away, the team has a little extra drive.
They need to run well to win. But it is 0-5 when it does not run for at least 130 yards. It got past Rutgers. When teams are held to less than 130 yards on the ground, the Badgers are 4-0.
Why Nebraska Will Win
Yes, Wisconsin always wins when it scores 300 yards, but that does not always happen.
Six of the ten teams that the Huskers have played have thrown for 301 yards or less. The defense should come up with something special on Senior Day, when everyone in the stadium is excited.
It is not just the offense. It is hard for the Badgers to beat teams that can throw the ball. Everyone who beat UW gained more than 200 yards through the air. Iowa ran wild in its win.
The Huskers’ new offensive coordinator, Dana Holgorsen, got his first game as head coach last week against USC. However, the offense had a tough time.
You can expect Dylan Raiola to get hot as the game goes on because the Badger defense does not get behind the line very often, but

It is not easy, but Nebraska really wants to win now or else.
WI will try to change things up on offense, but they will get stuck way too often.
Nebraska will sputter and cough, and several field goals will go wrong. Early in the fourth quarter, there will be a big miss.
But the Huskers will make one last big stop that will lead to a huge moment for Husker fans.
