Something good needs to happen at the end of Deshaun Foster’s first season.
With wins over Iowa and Nebraska, the team got back into the thick of the season with a three-game winning streak. But losses to Washington and USC ended any bowl hopes. Still, this is a rebuilding year; 5-7 would look a lot better than 4-8.
Fresno State stopped its losers’ slide with a big 28-22 win over Colorado State to get into the bowl game. They had lost four of their previous six games. If they beat UCLA, it would be a great start to Tim Skipper’s first year in charge.
