Of the “Power Four,” the Big Ten is the easiest to get into. If things take a big turn late in the game, Oregon and Ohio State could play each other again in a rematch of the exciting game earlier in the season.
Before we talk about our picks for the rest of the Big Ten games, let us take a look at the bigger picture.
That is it if Oregon and Ohio State win. One more team, Penn State, and those two are it. There is no one else really in the hunt.
Penn State will play Minnesota in a tough game in a few weeks, but it should win its last three games, be 11-1, and be in the College Football Playoff. But if Ohio State loses to Michigan or Northwestern, the door will be open.
In a few weeks, Ohio State will play Indiana at home. If the Hoosiers win, they will be 12-0 and beat Purdue, so there will not be any tie-breakers.
If Oregon beats Wisconsin this week, they will be in the Big Ten Championship game. The last game of the regular season is against Washington.
