Kent State has lost all eleven games and has not even been close. It is trying, but this round two season under Kenni Burns is not working.

It would be great to do something special in the last game of the season, especially since Buffalo still has more football to play.

Buffalo has won three straight games, but some early MAC losses hurt their chances of winning the conference title.

With seven wins, including a shockingly easy 37-20 win at Eastern Michigan last week, it is pretty safe in the bowl rankings. However, an 8-4 record would mean another football game in December.

That is all Kent State can do with their passing game: bomb the Bull secondary. But it will not be enough.

In the last few weeks, everyone has been able to beat the Bulls. In their last three games, they have given up close to 1,100 passing yards. Some plays this year saw Kent State go over 300 yards, and they will do everything they can to keep the Bulls from catching up.

The Kent State run defense is another one.

Buffalo tries to run, but it is not very good at it. Last week’s win over Eastern Michigan did not work with the mass carries, but they set the pace.

This week, the 40+ carries will add up to over 250 yards, which will ruin a pretty good game for the Golden Flashes.
