The AAC has a light week with a lot of teams off, including Memphis and USF. There are not any exciting games, and…
This could be the calm before the storm. The AAC is most worried about Navy-Air Force, even though it is not in conference play. Navy-Air Force is the real threat.
Here are our picks for each AAC game in Week 6.
AAC Predictions: Week 6
All Times EST
Navy at Air Force
12:00 pm ET, CBS
Line: Navy -9.5, o/u: 36.5
Is this the start of the Air Force season? Navy’s offence can not be stopped, and neither can the passing game or the offence. For two service colleges, it will be more school than you think.
Navy at Air Force Navy 24, Air Force 13, we think.
Army at Tulsa
12:00 pm ET, ESPNU
Line: Army -13, o/u: 50.5
Everyone should think that this Army machine will not slow down until someone proves otherwise. The Knights will be in charge the whole time, but Tulsa will get a few goals off.
The army in Tulsa Army will win 34–14 over Tulsa.
Tulane at UAB
1:00 pm ET, ESPN+
Line: Tulane -17.5, o/u: 54.5
At this point in the Jon Sumrall era, Tulane spoke out against USF. This is UAB’s second straight double-digit loss under Trent Dilfer. Even though they are at home, they can not stop the Green Wave with their defence.
The Tulane at UAB I think Tulane will win 38–20 over UAB.
Temple at UConn
3:30 pm ET, CBS Sports Network
Line: UConn -16.5, o/u: 50.5
Temple is not strong enough or fast enough to run with a UConn team that is going crazy at home. The Huskies will win by a huge margin for the third game in a row. They will have over 500 yards.
The Temple at UConn I think UConn will win 41–10 over Temple.
East Carolina at Charlotte
3:30 pm ET, ESPNU
Line: East Carolina -8.5, o/u: 47
Charlotte has won two of its last three games, but East Carolina will win again with a great late drive. It will be a little closer than the Pirates would like until the end.
North Carolina at East Carolina East Carolina will win by 27, Charlotte will win by 17.
