Netflix had some streaming problems during the much-anticipated fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, which made a lot of fans angry.
The fight took place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and was shown live on Netflix. It was the first major boxing event that Netflix had shown.
The site Downdetector, which keeps track of outages, says that during the fight, there were about 14,000 problems with Netflix.
Most users said they were having trouble streaming, but some said they were having trouble logging in. Close to 1,200 complaints about Netflix streaming problems were made in India on Downdetector.
A report from US Today said that viewers all over the US and beyond said they were having trouble with buffering, bad video quality, and even service outages.
The problems started with the undercard fights and did not go away all night, so a lot of fans missed important parts of the fights. Complaints and expressions of disappointment were shared on social media sites like X and Reddit.
Netflix has not said anything official or made a comment about the problems users are having with streaming yet.
