“First Buddy” Elon Musk joined Donald Trump and his family at Mar-a-Lago for Thanksgiving, with footage showing a “embarrassed” Barron watching as the two men danced to YMCA.
On Thursday night, the president-elect was at his resort in Palm Beach, Florida, with friends, family, and the tech billionaire, who it seems like is always there.
An online video that Musk shared again shows Trump sitting in the ballroom between his 18-year-old son and Musk, with Melania Trump sitting next to Barron.
In the background of the video, you can hear Trump’s campaign anthem, which made both Musk and Trump do a jig in their seats.
It can be seen that the new head of the Department of Government Efficiency is gently nodding his head while Trump smacks the table and yells “bam, bam, bam.”
When Trump saw that Musk was acting more calmly, he gave him a few taps on the shoulder, which made the CEO of Tesla raise his arms in the air.
Barron seems to feel uncomfortable as his dad laughs and turns to face him.
People on social media quickly said that Barron looked “uncomfortable” and “embarrassed” during the event.
“Wow.” “Other than his mom, Elon Musk could not get any other family member to spend Thanksgiving with him,” an X user wrote. Trump also paid his third wife to join. Barron looks ashamed for them too. “What LOSERS.”
Someone else wrote on X, “Barron looks uncomfortable.” Everyone at that table has strange body language.
A third person said, “Barron’s like, ‘Okay, have we had enough of this song yet, dad?'”
“Elon has been taken in by the Trump family,” said someone else.
Musk’s mother Maye, Trump’s daughter Tiffany, son Eric, and daughter-in-law Lara all joined the Trump family for Thanksgiving.
Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone was also at the party and talked to Trump and Musk. Stallone recently called Trump “the second Founding Father” and compared him to George Washington.
In the weeks after the election, Musk has spent a lot of time at Mar-a-Lago. Even the new president joked that he “can not get him out” of his Florida home.
Trump and the tech billionaire have talked on the phone with foreign leaders together, and Trump went with Musk to Texas to see his SpaceX Starship rocket launch.
