An Ohio guy was found inside an abandoned car wash, and his name has been made public by the police.
The Franklin County Coroner’s Office said on Friday that fingerprints helped them figure out that the body found at the car wash belonged to Christopher M. Coleman, who was 53 years old.
WCMH reports that Colman’s body parts were found inside the old Super Wash in the 1500 block of Holt Road in the Georgesville Square Shopping Plaza.
On Wednesday night, police found Coleman’s body in one of the car wash bays. It was “badly decomposed.”
Authorities told WCMH that the car wash has been closed for several years and has a chain link fence around it.
Coleman, who was said to be homeless, had a past of crime.
WCMH said that he was still living one month ago, when he was charged with disorderly conduct in Franklin County Municipal Court.
Cole’s fingerprints were matched with ones taken on September 11, three days after he was arrested.
Coleman has also been charged in city court almost 25 times. In 2016, he was accused of robbing a Huntington Bank in west Columbus.
Coleman’s death was to be investigated through an autopsy.
This case is still being looked into.
