The legendary Mike Tyson will fight the much-anticipated YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul on November 15 in Texas, United States. The fight has been called the “battle of generations.”
The Texas Licensing and Regulations Department approved the professional fight, which was supposed to happen on July 20 but had to be moved because Tyson had an ulcer.
The fact that they are different ages makes this fight more interesting. Paul is only 27 years old, while Tyson is 58 years old.
In this fight, Mike Tyson will be back in the ring for the first time in 19 years, after retiring after losing to Kevin McBride in 2005. It will be a big moment for the American heavyweight boxer.
Tyson is the youngest fighter in history to win the world heavyweight title. He did so at age 20 in 1986. He has won 50 of his 58 professional fights, for an 88 percent win record. Their favorite boxer, “Iron Mike,” will likely put on another classy show for his fans.
Jake Paul, on the other hand, wants to get his biggest ring scalp. So far, Paul has a 10-1 record since he began in 2018. The famous YouTuber stopped his last three opponents in 2023, including two in the first round. He is known for how hard he hits.
Modifications in Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight
Several changes have been made to the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight that have not been made to the other professional fights. Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson will have eight rounds, and each one will last two minutes.
Another difference is that the fighters will wear 14-ounce gloves instead of the usual 10-ounce gloves. The extra padding and heavier gloves will make it harder for the boxers to land a knockout blow and lower the risk of cuts and sprains for both Tyson and Paul.
