Liberty vs. Sam Houston: CUSA Championship Spot on the Line Prediction, Preview, and Betting Lines

Jacksonville State is two games ahead of everyone else in the Conference USA championship. A lot of different things make that a wild card in the CUSA Championship.

It is a bad thing for Sam Houston that the Gamecocks do not have to play any of their star players against Western Kentucky.

Last week, Liberty beat WKU 38–21. That means they will play Jax State for the title if they beat Sam Houston. They lost to the Hilltoppers under Sam Houston. It needs to win this and hope that Jacksonville State beats WKU.

Liberty vs Sam Houston: Who Will Win?

Sam Houston has an easy deal. There does not have to be a bomb in the passing game; just hit the midrange throws and everything will be fine.

Also, do not run anymore.

The Bearkats were 8-0 when they gave up less than 130 rushing yards. In their three losses, they gave up that many or more. The least amount of yards that Liberty ran this season was 179 in a win over UTEP.

Liberty has been VERY inconsistent, even when it has won. Two weeks ago, it had a hard time beating UMass, but last week, it smashed WKU when it had to. The trouble is that Liberty does not drive well.

Sam Houston will keep the score low, but the Flames’ ground game will still work.
