Someone in Massachusetts won $100,000 in a drawing game on Sunday. Each ticket costs $1 to play on this game.
“Mass Cash” gave away the $100,000 prize. In the Oct. 20 drawing, the numbers that won were 5, 19, 20, 23, and 33.
On Sunday, the winning ticket with all five numbers matching came from a store in Methuen called Pleasant Valley.
Every night at 9 p.m., there is a “Mass Cash” drawing. It costs $1 to play, and each player picked five numbers from 1 to 35.
On Sunday, at least 200 gifts worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts. Five of these were in Springfield, six were in Worcester, and 26 were in Boston.
Every day, the Massachusetts State Lottery gives out a full list of all the winning tickets. There are only winning tickets worth more than $600 on the list.
Massachusetts has had one big lottery win so far this year. The winner got $1 million a year for life.
It was a prize from the “Lifetime Millions” scratch ticket game. The winner chose to get a one-time payment of $15.4 million when they received their prize through a trust on July 10.
