Police are looking for the man who allegedly attacked and attempted to rob a couple visiting New York City.
Along West 44th Street, the attack took place just after 10:30 p.m. on November 9.
The suspect approached the couple, tried to take the woman’s purse, and then threw her to the ground, according to the NYPD. The suspect then tried to steal the 75-year-old man’s wallet with the woman, and he punched him several times in the face.
Police say the suspect was not able to take the couple’s things.
The couple, who are from Connecticut, was visiting family in the city at the time of the incident, according to the police.
The suspect was last seen leaving the scene of the crime going west on 44th Street after taking off his own shirt.
The victims were taken to Mount Sinai West Hospital by first responders and are now in stable condition.
