That is a whopping confession!
Whoopi Goldberg, 69, revealed during her birthday episode of “The View” on Wednesday that she enjoys a particular type of oral pleasure.
Standing in front of a giant wheel of cheese with her face engraved on it, the “Sister Act” star went through a list of her favorite products in honor of her special day.
“I always wanted my face on cheese,” co-host Sara Haines told Goldberg. “I like to be eaten every once in a while,” Goldberg replied.
The audience in the studio laughed and cheered as Haines came back and gave Goldberg a big hug.
“Nevermind,” the host said next. “This is a wheel of real Parmigiano Reggiano from Italy. It is been aged for 24 months and is a symbol of quality and tradition in Italy.”
It was not all smooth sailing for Goldberg’s party on air, though.
During the show, the famous person thought that a business would not make her treats for her birthday because of her political views.
Soon after ending the show at the “Hot Topics” table with a round of Charlotte Russe desserts, Goldberg would not say which bakery made the tasty treats because she thought they turned her down at first because of her strong beliefs.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the store was Holtermann’s Bakery on Staten Island. Jill Holtermann, the owner of the bakery, told the publication that Goldberg had first asked for the desserts two weeks ago.
However, Holtermann denied that she did not want to finish the order because Goldberg is politically liberal.
“They asked us, but we were having boiler problems,” she said, adding that the talk show host had first asked for treats for shows on November 6 and 13.
Holtermann turned down both offers because she “did not want to make a promise that I can not keep” because she was not sure if her equipment would work.
Around 50 Charlotte Russe desserts were picked up from the bakery by an unknown woman at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, which she was able to make. Holtermann also said she did not know that the woman who was picking up the treats worked for “The View.”
The owner said, “I told Whoopi, ‘I can not do it right now.'” Since the building was built in 1930, there are a lot of things going on with my boiler. When she called, I did not know if we could bake everything.
According to Holtermann, it was not because of their political views.
