Air Force tried to run with it against New Mexico last week, but it is stalling and having trouble.
The offense finally got going, but the defense let them down, and they lost 52–37. It was their fifth straight loss, and all of them were by more than 10 points. The season is not over yet, but it will be if the D can not start making movies.
It seems like every time Colorado State wins, they lose, but they are 1-0 in the Mountain West after beating San Jose State, and they have a lot of games left that they could win.
Not having to deal with Boise State is nice, and not having to deal with UNLV is also fine. But the defense that Oregon State broke down needs to stop the Air Force charge. The Rams are on the move. They have to go to New Mexico and three times to Nevada.
