WA State wants to make the College Football Playoff a lot more than it seems.
The only loss was at Boise State. It has a big win over a strong Texas Tech team, and the win over Washington will become more important as the season goes on.
There is still time to do even more since Oregon State is still on the schedule.
Hawaii has not beaten an FBS team yet. Sometimes the attack works and sometimes it doesn’t, but the defense has kept games close. Things have not gone well this season, but a win in Pullman could make things better quickly.
