After beating Ole Miss in a tough game, LSU has now won five straight games and is in the running for the College Football Playoff.
It is still on, though, with this game, a trip to Texas A&M, the big matchup against Alabama, and then three tough games as a favorite against Florida, Vanderbilt, and Oklahoma.
Arkansas is a great place to live. After beating Tennessee, it took a two-week break. It then lost close games to Oklahoma State and Texas A&M. They will play four of their next five games at home. Their only away game is against a bad Mississippi State team.

Why LSU Will Win
The offensive line for LSU is still great.
The line is making up for the lack of a run game by giving Garrett Nussmeier time to work on plays downfield. They are fourth in the country in both sacks and tackles for loss. As he picks everyone apart, he has the arm, the eyesight, and the strength to get anywhere.
Nussmeier may not have been very effective against Ole Miss, but he did throw for 337 yards and three touchdowns.
He has scored more than one touchdown in every game and rushed for more than 300 yards against every FBS team. Each game, Arkansas lets guys pass for 215 yards.
Arkansas stays ahead of the line. The line is giving up too many pops to the quarterback, and the defense only gets five stops for loss per game at best.
LSU also has the fourth most sacks in the country.
Why Arkansas Will Win
Green Taylen should be back.
After hurting his knee against Tennessee, Arkansas’s star quarterback is at least getting close to being ready to play again. He is making a difference and doing enough through the air to worry about so far. If he can not go,
First-year Malachi Singleton is a scary person who can do many things.
You must be able to keep up the speed if you want to play LSU. While Arkansas’s running game is not as good as it would like, it ranks eighth in the country in overall offense and can keep the ball moving.
The best thing about this is that the Hogs should have more time with the ball than any other team—they do it for over 33 minutes every game.
It is important to keep LSU and Nussmeier off the field.
LSU vs Arkansas: Who Will Win
This year’s two plays have been a lot of fun.
This game will be close between LSU and Arkansas. Arkansas will try to keep the score low. Look at the Tennessee game to see how the Hogs have been able to make teams play their style and pace. But LSU will keep going with a few late scoring runs.
Arkansas is good, but LSU has more pop.
