Talk about needing something good…
Oklahoma’s offense has not been great, and it stopped working in a 25–15 loss to Tennessee. Big changes are being made to the attack.
If they lose this, they will have a huge problem in their first SEC game against Texas in two weeks.
Auburn might not go bowling if it does not get a good win.
It stopped moving against Arkansas, which they lost 24–14. This is their last home game before going on the road to play Georgia, Missouri, and Kentucky.

Why Oklahoma Will Win
Okay, Mr. Michael Hawkins Jr. Come on, show us what you got.
He filled in for Jackson Arnold, who was not doing well against Tennessee, and did pretty well, completing 11 of 19 passes for 132 yards and a score.
Even though Hawkins Jr. can run a little, the game should start to move a bit more once he starts making midrange throws.
The Auburn defense has not been terrible, but the offense has not been able to settle down, even after switching quarterbacks.
When it comes to time of possession, Auburn is last in the country. They are also second-to-last in college football with 14 mistakes.
Why Auburn Will Win
Auburn’s passing game works REALLY well when it does.
Alabama A&M and New Mexico were blown out by it, but Cal and Arkansas were tough for it to take down.
In the two wins, the Tigers threw ten touchdowns and no interceptions. In the two losses, they threw three touchdowns and eight interceptions.
There needs to be a middle ground.
Auburn can score a lot of points and gain a lot of yards, but in this case, it just needs to avoid making a huge mistake. Do not push anything and keep things moving.
Oklahoma vs Auburn: Who Will Win
Yeah, Oklahoma is No. 1 in the nation in takeaways.
Even though six of those 12 came in the first game against Temple, this team is very good at causing fumbles. So far, Auburn has dropped six of them.
Both starting quarterbacks will have their moments. For example, Payton Thorne should probably be back under center for Auburn instead of Hank Brown.
That is likely to be the case right up until the game starts. But Oklahoma’s running game will settle down a bit after not getting going against Tennessee.
