There are millions of Americans who get their monthly benefits from Social Security every month. This gives them enough money to cover their daily living costs. Out of the 70 million people who get benefits, some would not be able to make ends meet.
These include retired workers, widows, disabled people, and people who get Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
The Social Security Administration has to send out millions of payments every month, so they set up a monthly payment plan so that everyone who gets a payment can know exactly when it will arrive based on the program they are eligible for.
List of all remaining Social Security payments in 2024
The 2024 Social Security payment plan shows that people who are eligible for both financial and insurance programs will get their benefits in the following ways:
November
- November 1st (SSI and RSDI beneficiaries): On this day, recipients from the SSI and RSDI programs will get their benefits. Usually, RSDI beneficiaries who claimed benefits before May 1997 get their payments on the third day of the month, but as it falls on a weekend, the SSA rescheduled that date for the preceding business day.
- November 13th (RSDI beneficiaries after May 1997): these beneficiaries will get their monthly benefits on the second Wednesday if they were born between the 1st and the 10th.
- November 20th (RSDI beneficiaries after May 1997): these beneficiaries will get their monthly benefits on the second Wednesday if they were born between the 11th and the 20th.
- November 27th (RSDI beneficiaries after May 1997): these beneficiaries will get their monthly benefits on the second Wednesday if they were born between the 21st and the 31st.

December
- December 3rd (RSDI beneficiaries): On this day, RSDI beneficiaries who claimed their first benefits will get their monthly payments.

From what we have already talked about, it is important to remember that the next few months will bring about big changes that beneficiaries need to be aware of in order to make good use of their funds.
Also, keep in mind that you should wait at least three mailing days before calling SSA customer service if any of those Social Security payments do not come on time.

It is important to note that the 3.2% cost of living adjustment (COLA) for 2025 is already built into these Social Security payouts. This was changed to 2.5% on October 10th.
