According to the Butler County Coroner, Joshua Al-Lateef drowned.
The coroner’s office says that an autopsy has been done. In a preliminary report, the coroner’s office says the death by drowning was an accident.
The last time Joshua was seen, he was at his Wyndtree Drive home with an adult sibling because his parents had left him there.
Eight retention ponds were searched by several search and rescue groups. He was found in one of them Thursday night by divers.
A lot of volunteers also came out to look for him in the area.
