Donald Trump was officially elected as the next president of the United States last month, and one foreign leader appears to be preparing for his presidency in an unusual way.
Donald Trump has long been known for his love of golf. Trump owns several golf courses around the world and spends a significant amount of his free time golfing.
So when Trump was elected president last month, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol sent a pretty clear message to Trump ahead of their first meeting.
Yoon Suk Yeol made it very clear that he intends to meet Trump on the golf course as he said that he “got out his golf clubs for the first time in eight years and resumed his golf practice” once Trump was elected, according to NBC News.
Yoon said that he spent about 10 minutes on the phone with Trump after his election victory, saying they “agreed that we should meet in person soon.”
It looks like Yoon plans for that meeting to happen on a golf course.
Yoon has a good reason to think this since Trump has spent a lot of time over the years golfing with world leaders and possible business partners.
Over the course of his four years as president, Trump played golf 307 days during his first term.
From what I can tell, he has quite a reputation among world leaders, and they know that when they meet him in person, they will have to do it on the golf course.
It will be interesting to see how quickly this meeting between Trump and Yoon happens.
