In a press conference Thursday at a security summit in Astana, Kazakhstan’s capital city, Russian President Vladimir Putin praised “smart and experienced” Donald Trump while warning him that he was “not safe”.
Even though Putin called Trump “clever,” he warned people to be careful by bringing up Trump’s past attempts on his life and how his opponents had treated him. Notably, Trump was hurt when someone tried to kill him at a rally in Pennsylvania in July.
“What struck me most is not that Donald Trump was faced with uncivilized means, including attempts on his life more than once,” Putin said, as translated by the Associated Press.
People say that the Russian president killed political opponents to get rid of them. Alexander Litvinenko, a former Russian spy, said that Putin had personally ordered his death on his deathbed in 2006.
A cup of tea in a London hotel bar that was laced with polonium-210 killed Litvinenko. Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin died in a mysterious plane crash in 2023.
He had led his troops to rebel against him. In February, Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny died in a prison colony while serving a 19-year sentence for a crime he committed.
You can even find a page on Wikipedia called “suspicious deaths of famous Russians 2022–2024.”
Putin told Trump, “By the way, I do not think he is safe right now.” “But he is smart and careful, and I hope he knows that,” she said.
Putin, who is 72 years old, said he was horrified by how the Trump family, including his children, had been treated, but he did not name any names. Reuters reports that he called it “revolting” and said that not even Russian “bandits” would be so low.
“Most of all, I was shocked to see that it was not just him who had to deal with humiliating and false court proceedings, accusations, and other things,” Putin said.
Trump has said many times that he will end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours of taking office, but he has not given any more information.
Putin told reporters that he believes the next president will “find a solution” to the ongoing war, since he has already passed “such a serious test” to “return to the White House.”
The president-elect’s comments show a friendlier side than President Joe Biden’s. Biden was criticized for making things “more difficult” for the new administration by, for example, letting Ukraine fire longer-range ATACMS missiles at Russia.
Boy it sure is nice to have a President that commands respect again. One interesting thing about this article is the strong correlation of how Russia’s communist party runs side by side with the Clinton regime in the US. Unexplained deaths followed people close to the Clintons as well.
