A man from Upstate won $300,000 after first choosing not to buy a lottery ticket but then going back and getting one.
The man said that he had seen a lottery ticket at the Lowry Food Mart #2 on Wells Highway in Seneca. At first, he did not believe it.
The man said he could not stop thinking about the ticket, though, so he went back to the store and bought it.
The man who won $300,000 with that ticket was the last person to win the top prize in the Carolina Cash game.
There is a 1 in 840,000 chance of getting $300,000 at Carolina Cash.
The man said he was going to buy a new house with the money he won.
