It was one of the most prevalent themes throughout the incredible Saturday of great moments.
Is anybody truly that good?
Sure, Penn State and Texas will be in everyone’s top four due to their respective brand names and records, but… have you seen them?
Penn State makes things far too difficult, but Texas is… Texas. It’s good, but something appears to be missing to elevate it from great to national title-worthy.
So, we now know how good everyone is. We get it, and we rank accordingly – which is false.
Ohio State is the best team in college football, but it has to be rated second to Oregon for the time being.
And Florida? The Gators are now 6-5, but they defeated LSU and Ole Miss in consecutive weeks. The five losses are to Miami, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Georgia, and Texas, all of which are ranked in our top 13, therefore unlike other polls, we do not penalize teams for losing to superior teams.
There isn’t much time left in the season, so the rankings will continue to fluctuate, but here’s where all 134 college football teams are heading into Week 14.
