Independence Police say a woman from Garfield Heights was raped in a McDonald’s on Wednesday.
At 12:51 p.m. on October 16, police were called to the 6201 Brecksville Road McDonald’s for a fight. When they arrived, they found Tiffany Bulanda on the ground screaming that her leg hurt and she could not feel it.
Bulanda told 19 News that two women beat her because they did not understand something about one of their children.
The event was caught on surveillance video from McDonald’s.
He said, “I asked the people behind the counter to please call the police.” “Instead, they tried to keep the girls from hitting me.”
A McDonald’s worker tried to keep the three women apart, but the fight did not end until Bulanda was on the ground, as shown by the security video.
The women, Tori Hawkins and Carilyn Lopez, left the McDonald’s after the fight, but cops later found them and charged both of them with felony assault.
Because she was hurt, Bulanda was taken to the hospital and had surgery.
The man said, “They put rods and screws in my leg.”
